Insecure Nudist and Revive Nine to Five was created from thrifted, old, and forgotten materials. I have taken the time to repurpose the fabric and redefine the meaning of one-of-a-kind clothing. These items are truly unique in the sense that once that material is gone, it is gone. But by using these fabrics, I am creating something from what would have been thrown away or discarded. It is by circumstance and extreme patience that I was able to slowly start buying materials that reflected the colors and patterns that would suit each line. Eight, out of the eleven pieces in Insecure Nudist where created out of bed sheets. All pieces from Revive Nine to Five are recycled materials; some examples are in the pictures above. Repurposing fabric is also a very eco-friendly alternative to everyday clothing purchases.

 

At the bottom of it all -  the fabrics are durable, yet lightweight, and embody what these lines stand to represent: there is beauty in everything.
